KOSUGE1-16 is an artist unit of Chishino Kurumada and Takashi Tsuchiya from 2001.   An opportunity of our activity is born from everyday life. It is environment and phenomenons and communications. I find an opportunity from there and make a project from there. It has a laughter and small adventure. I think that art is just an everyday occurrence and it is enrich our life.

車田智志乃と土谷享によるアーティスト・ユニットとして2001年より活動を開始。現在はこれまでのコンセプトを引き継ぎ、土谷が代表として活動する。日常のありふれた環境、現象、人のつながりなどをきっかけに作品を制作し、作品を通して鑑賞者を参加者に変質させ、参加者同士、あるいは作品と参加者の間に「もちつもたれつ」という関係性を構築する。
